Britannian ostetumpien klubi

BBC Radio 2 lähetti tänään Top 40 -listaohjelman Britannian ostetuimmista albumeista vuodesta 1956 nykypäivään. Mitään suuria yllätyksiä listalta ei löydy, mutta hienoa saada taas se päivitettyä. Edellisestä virallisesta top 40 -päivityksestä olikin jo kuutisen vuotta. Sääli, ettei lähetystä ei voi kuunnella enää jälkikäteen netissä.

Suluissa ilmestymisvuosi Britanniassa ja korkein sijoitus viikkolistoilla, joka ei välttämättä tullut ilmestymisvuonna.

Spice Girlsin Spicelle on tullut takkiin 18–27 ja Phil Collinsin But Seriouslylle 23–35.

Samana vuonna ilmestyneiden Keanen ja Scissor Sistersin esikoisten välinen supertiukka taistelu on kääntynyt Keanen eduksi. Hopes and Fears nousi yhden sijan, kun taas Scissor Sisters on joutunut antautumaan muutaman pykälän.
